Beanstalk welcomes Ian Joynson as new md of UK office

Beanstalk has welcomed Ian Joynson as managing director of its UK office, effective immediately.

Ian (pictured) joined the agency back in 2001 as a senior brand manager and, over the years, has risen through key brand management roles, each of increasing significance. He most recently held the role of vp and co-head, brand management.

In his new role, Ian will be responsible for overseeing Beanstalk’s operations in EMEA and the servicing of Beanstalk UK’s client accounts. In addition, he will work alongside the business development team to further build the agency’s client roster of brands.

“Ian’s extensive experience and dedication make him the ideal leader for this role,” commented Allison Ames, president and ceo at Beanstalk. “Having been with Beanstalk for over 22 years, he brings a wealth of knowledge in superbly managing clients and licensees and strategically driving new partnerships. His ability to navigate client-facing activities will be invaluable as we focus on the core needs of the business. There is no doubt that Ian will continue to drive our strategic goals forward and build on our success working closely with the team.”

Ian continued: “I am excited to lead the Beanstalk UK office and look forward to contributing to the agency’s ongoing success. Beanstalk’s commitment to creating transformative brand extensions for our clients combined with its unique and collaborative culture aligns perfectly with my own vision of what a world-class agency should be. I am eager to work with the talented team here to achieve our shared objectives.”
