Heritage and lifestyle brand teams with British label for the first time.
Heritage and lifestyle brand Barbour is collaborating with Laura Ashley for the autumn/winter 2020 season.
Barbour has chosen two wildflower prints from the British label’s extensive collection, applying them to a capsule collection of wax jackets, reported TheIndustry.Fashion.
These are complemented by an exclusive range of knitwear, dresses, blouses and accessories, all reflecting the signature style of both brands.
The collection will launch from the end of July.
“Both Barbour and Laura Ashley are renowned British heritage brands with a shared love of the countryside,” said Paul Wilkinson, global marketing and commercial director at Barbour. “The prints we have chosen from their archive perfectly complement our clothing to create a contemporary lifestyle collection that is both elegant and functional.”
Vanessa Page, head of fashion at Laura Ashley, added: “Our shared values and vision of classics with a twist perfectly suits the collection and we are proud of the way we have brought some of our archive prints to life in a new and exciting way.”
