Views of Riki Group’s preschool show on Chinese digital platforms exceeded three billion in February.
Riki Group is celebrating the growing international presence of its preschool animation, BabyRiki.
The total number of views of three seasons of the animation on Chinese digital platforms exceeded three billion in February, the company has reported.
The three seasons of BabyRiki are broadcast on the platforms Tencent, iQiyi, YouKu, Mango TV, Beva, Sohu, as well as on the official CCTV Kids app.
On YouKu and iQiyi, the series is in the top five most popular foreign animated series in the preschool category, along with Peppa Pig and PAW Patrol, as well as fellow Riki Group show, The Fixies.
As well as the series success, there are also now 67 skus of BabyRiki toys and books available in over 500 stores in China.
“It’s so exciting to watch BabyRiki grow and bring joy and happiness to more and more young viewers from various cultures and who speak different languages,” said Alexandra Artemyeva, producer of the show. “Each episode contains a learning topic, a song and the whole series represents a comprehensive early development programme, which is valued so much by parents from all around the world.
“We are happy to see an interest to our show and that it brings value to our vast audience.”
