Asics unveils new Beauty and the Beast collaboration

New trainer collection features three styles and special edition packaging.

Footwear specialist Asics has teamed up with Disney to launch a special Beauty and the Beast collaboration.

Tying in with the launch of hit live action adaptation, the new range features three styles and comes in limited edition packaging.

The styles are inspired by both Belle and The Beast, and also feature fabrics and patterns found on costumes worn in the movie.

Belle comes in either white or birch designs, both embossed with a rose print and Disney branding. Meanwhile, The Beast part of the collection is a coffee coloured design, with a hint of blue being a nod towards the velvet blazer he wears in the film.

Asic’s GEL-Lyte III and GEL-Lyte V are included in the collection, with additional pairs set to take inspiration from sub-characters and the castle setting, according to reports.
