Art Ask Agency marks International Women’s Day with new Frida Kahlo deals

The Frida Kahlo licensing programme continues to grow and, on International Women’s Day (8 March), Art Ask Agency has confirmed a number of new deals.

After the world premiere in Barcelona in November 2021, the officially authorised Frida Kahlo – The life of an Icon immersive experience will open its doors in Porto, Portugal on 10 March at The Immersivus Gallery and in Brussels, Belgium on 17 March at The Horta Immersive Gallery.

Fifty Milano will have a capsule collection of Frida Kahlo tees with various styles and embroidered details available in its stores across Spain, Portugal, Serbia, Bosnia and online across the EU.

Meanwhile, El Corte Ingles – under its fashion brand Green Coast – will have Frida tees also with embroidered details available in all stores across Spain, with further launches planned throughout the year.

ONLY – under its Neon & Nylon section – will launch Frida tees in all of its bricks and mortar stores, as well as online; La Casa de las Carcasas will have a wide range of mobile phone accessories launching from 8 March in France, Spain, Portugal and Italy; traditional Swedish brand, Ekeland has designed a full collection of textiles including blankets, kitchen towels, cushion covers and baby accessories; lifestyle water bottle and flavour brand, Waterdrop will launch its Frida Kahlo collection of sustainable bottles today (8 March); while Licensed to Charm has a curated collection of earrings, necklaces and charms.
