Art Ask Agency marking Frida Kahlo 110th milestone

Raft of new products launching around female lifestyle icon.

A raft of licensees are paying tribute to female lifestyle icon Frida Kahlo for her 110th anniversary this year, with numerous new products launching.

Art Ask Agency – which represents the brand in Europe – has revealed that Spanish luxury porcelain company Lladró will be releasing a special tribute.

The piece is made of glossy porcelain and numerous decorative techniques have been used in the creative process. Striking gold plated earrings in the shape of a skull adorns the bust and can be purchased separately. The Frida Kahlo bust comes as an exclusive limited edition collectors item of just 250 pieces.

In addition, Ecell has launched a range of consumer electronic accessories (available through eBay and Amazon), while a new stationery collection is released from Grupo Erik.

The range includes a wall calendar, desktop calendar, high-end agenda with decorated with interior pages and additional stickers, plus a premium notebook and a large poster.

Products are now available in stores across Iberia including El Corte Inglés, Media Markt, FNAC, Alcampo, Media Markt and Leclerc y Eroski.
