Anderson Entertainment takes off with new Thunderbird 2 model

Anderson Entertainment has begun taking pre-orders for its new Thunderbird 2 model on the Gerry Anderson store.

This marks the next launch in the company’s new premium range following the successful release of two Eagles from Space:1999 late last year.

Arguably the best loved and probably the most iconic of all Gerry Anderson vehicles, the Thunderbird 2 model is cast from a completely new tool that used measurements from props and 3D scans.

It is finished in its fixed pod configuration and comes with launch ramp base, luxury packaging and certificate of authenticity. The series will be limited to 2,000 units worldwide and is priced at £124.99.

“We’re really pleased with how the new Thunderbird 2 has come out and looking ahead our pipeline of models looks really strong, especially as we work towards the 50th anniversary of Space: 1999 and 60th anniversary of Thunderbirds in 2025,” commented Jamie Anderson, md at Anderson Entertainment.
