Amazon’s Treasure Truck rolls into Liverpool

Shoppers at Liverpool One shopping centre treated to ‘one of a kind’ shopping experience.

Amazon’s Treasure Truck rolled into Liverpool last week, offering a raft of special offers and limited edition stock for customers at the city’s Liverpool One shopping centre.

The Truck – which parked up on March 29, and will be returning to the city in the next few weeks – featured exclusive items made just for the truck, trending tech, seasonal must-haves, food and favourites from local businesses, as well as deals on limited edition items.

Treasure Truck first launched in the UK in London and Manchester in 2017, rolling into Leeds, York, Coventry and more in 2018.

The first limited quantity surprise offer was the Nintendo Classic Mini: Super Nintendo Entertainment System. Further offer days have included everything from an immersive Star Wars experience with Philips through to 60% off a magnum of Taittinger Champagne.

Occasional celebrity appearances, interactive games, special seasonal events and on the spot prize giveaways are also thrown in to further brighten up the day.

“After test-driving the Treasure Truck over the last two years, we can’t wait to bring this exciting  shopping experience to customers in Liverpool,” said Suruchi Bansal, head of Treasure Truck at Amazon.co.uk. “Every item on offer has been cherry picked to ensure Treasure Truck will turn an ordinary day into something a bit more special.”
