Amazon reveals ‘most wished for’ gifts

Jurassic World, Inside Out and Star Wars among hot picks for Christmas.

Amazon.co.uk has unwrapped the nation’s most wished for Christmas gifts – with Jurassic World, Minions and Inside Out among the properties appearing most on customer’s ‘Wish Lists’ this year.

The Jurassic World DVD is the most wanted Christmas present – according to customers’ most wished for products on the e-tailer since October 1 – followed by the Star Wars: Battlefront video game and the Inside Out DVD.

Also lined up to appear in this year’s festive stockings are Fallout 4, the Minions DVD and the Harry Potter Colouring Book.

The latest video games in the Call of Duty and Assassin’s Creed series’ are also popular choices.

Within the toy sector, LEGO Disney Princess: Elsa’s Sparkling Ice Castle and Sphere BB-8 Droid are among the most wished for.

“Wish Lists offer a real-time insight into what people up and down the country would like to receive on Christmas morning,” said Alison Forrestal, media director at Amazon.co.uk.

“This year, blockbuster film releases such as Jurassic World and Inside Out are hotly anticipated, and it seems you also can’t go wrong with colouring books, family games and kitchen gadgets.”
