The product collection – arriving online from 11 July – includes toys and clothing, plus the first ever Minions ice cream.
The next Minions movie may have been delayed until 2022, but fans can still get their fix of the characters at Aldi from next week, with the retailer launching a new range featuring everything from toys through to ice cream.
Available online from 11 July and in-store from 15 July, the new collection will be looking to appeal to the almost 75 million Minions fans in Great Britain (according to YouGov).
The first Minions ice cream line is already available – the raspberry and vanilla frozen lollies have the distinctive yellow bodies, blue overalls and monocle of Gru’s sidekicks.
Aldi’s LEGO Minions sets will also be available in two variations – the Unstoppable Bike Chase and Gru’s Lab – while children can ignite their imaginations with the Minions Lab Games, available in either Mayhem Lab or Stinky Science. Both games are designed to encourage children to explore ‘wacky and wonderful’ scientific ideas using gloopy goo and special slimes.
Soft toy versions of Kevin, Bob and Stuart can also be picked up, while a unisex clothing range will include Minions t-shirts and sweatshirts.
