Aldi looks to score with Six Nations clothing line

Retailer launches range online and in-store to tie in with start of tournament.

Aldi has kicked off its support for this year’s Six Nations, launching a new range of clothing to tie in with the tournament.

Part of the value retailer’s Special Buys offering, the official RFU merchandise is available for England and Wales and hit stores last Thursday (February 1), ahead of the beginning of the competition at the weekend.

Items for men and women include rain jackets, hoodies, t-shirts, a long-sleeved top, fleece and a rugby beanie – all embellished with the England, Wales and Scotland team crests.

Meanwhile, the children’s range includes a rugby top, t-shirt and hoodie for the three teams.

Prices range from £4.99 to £19.99.

Aldi has previously got behind other sporting events including the Rio 2016 Olympics with official Team GB merchandise, as well as stocking ranges to tie in with the Euro 2016 tournament.
