Aldi adds new licensed ride-ons

Official Land Rover and Jaguar products part of new premium toy collection.

Aldi has widened its gift offering for this Christmas, introducing a new premium toy collection which includes offically licensed Land Rover and Jaguar ride-ons.

The retailer has significantly increased its focus on licensed products throughout 2017, with these new additions further underlining its ambitions.

The Ride-On Land Rover – which is priced at £74.99 – comes in sleek black and has a maximum speed of 3mph, an MP3 facility to play the tunes and an electric horn.

Meanwhile, the Ride-On Jaguar (£59.99) features working headlights and rear lights and is an official miniature replica of the original.

Julie Ashfield, md for corporate buying at Aldi, commented: “We’re thrilled to be offering families the chance to go all out this Christmas with our quality range of premium toys.

“It’s the first time we’ll be selling both the Land Rover and Jaguar toys – as well as a unique Ride on Pony – and we’re hopeful they’ll attract both Aldi-lovers and new fans alike.”
