Activision unveils new Crash Bandicoot 4 consumer products

Lines including apparel, art books, collectables and more roll out following launch of new video game.

Following the hotly tipped arrival of Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time, Activision has revealed details on a number of accompanying licensed products.

New offerings cover categories including apparel, collectables, publishing and energy drinks among others.

A collaboration with Champion Athleticwear sees the franchise make the move into streetwear for the first time. The limited edition Crash Bandicoot designs are the first collaboration with Champion’s Gamer Collection since its launch in August.

Fans can expect apparel including a Crash Bandicoot velcro-patch for Champion’s Gamer Hoodie and a special edition Crash Bandicoot t-shirt.

Also in the apparel category, Bricktown Gear is launching sweatshirts, hoodies and tees featuring Crash Bandicoot, plus Dr Neo Cortex, Aku Aku and TNT retro-style graphics.

Meanwhile, The Art of Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time is due to release on November 3 in the US from Titan Books. It includes interviews, quotes, observations and anecdotes and is accompanied by a treasure trove of concept art detailing the characters and environments of the game.

Between Crash Bandicoot 4 play sessions, gamers can also take a load off and mount their game controllers with new Cable Guys by Exquisite Gaming, while they can energise with limited Crash Bandicoot 4-inspired energy drink cans and powder energy drinks from G Fuel.

Within the collectables space, Youtooz will unveil a limited run of collectables in March 2021, while First 4 Figures will have a line of mini Aku Aku mask companion edition statues.
