Mexican restaurant Chiquito makes fashion move

The Mexican restaurant chain, Chiquito has launched its first fashion accessory.

To mark Veganuary, Chiquito has launched a limited edition vegan handbag, which has been inspired by the Jacquemus ‘Le Chiquito Moyen’ bag, reported The Industry.Fashion.

It comes in a Chiquito blue and yellow design, is made with 100% vegan leather and comes with an official card showcasing the bag’s limited edition production number.

There are just 100 bags available, with people being able to bid online in a silent auction. All proceeds to will go to the eco-friendly Veganuary charity, which encourages people to move to a plant-based diet as a way of protecting the environment.

“We’re confident The Chiquito will be turning heads on the street and we couldn’t be prouder of supporting Veganuary with its important work for another year,” commented Luana Herrmann, head of brand and marketing at Chiquito.
