Hallmark grows licensed Itty Bitty range

Characters including BB-8, The Joker and Supergirl join the collection in April.

Buoyed by its initial success, Hallmark is continuing to add characters to its Itty Bitty collection.

The company is onto its third phase of Itty Bittys, which will see a range of DC characters – including Supergirl, The Joker, Catwoman and The Flash – launch in April.

In addition, popular droid BB-8 will also join the Star Wars collection.

Hallmark initially launched the Itty Bittys range in September 2015, with licensed characters including Dorothy, Tinman, Cowardly Lion and Scarecrow from The Wizard of Oz, Snoopy and Charlie Brown from Peanuts, plus Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman.

This was followed up by the arrival of Shaggy and Scooby-Doo in October 2015.

The second phase launch took place in January, with Hallmark releasing eight characters in a new Star Wars rangs – these included Chewbacca, Yoda, R2-D2, C-3PO, Darth Vader, a Stormtrooper, Kylo Ren and Rey.
