Tom Allen will be bringing his unique style of sharp, acerbic wit and comedic storytelling to the Grosvenor House Hotel this September, as he takes on hosting duties for the licensing industry’s grand reunion, The Licensing Awards 2021.

Tom is the host of The Apprentice: You’re Fired and also co-hosts Cooking With The Stars and Bake Off: The Professionals. He is a regular on Bake Off: An Extra Slice and Alan Carr’s There’s Something About Movies.

Other TV appearances for Tom include Live At The Apollo, A League Of Their Own, Hypothetical, 8 Out Of 10 Cats, Cats Does Countdown, Would I Lie to You, The Last Leg, QI, The Jonathan Ross Show and The Royal Variety Performance among others.

Tom also has his own Radio 4 series – Tom Allen Is Not Very Nice – and has also made appearances on shows including Just A Minute, The News Quiz and Loose Ends.

His Absolutely tour of 2018 and 2019 was extended multiple times, selling over 50,000 tickets, including a sold out show at The London Palladium which was filmed and broadcast on Channel 4 in 2019.

He will also be teaming up with Jessica Knappett and Munya Chawawa for a new Channel 4 series Complaints Welcome, as well as hosting a new show on Dave, The Island. Both shows are due to air this autumn.

On top of all this, Tom has also written a critically acclaimed Sunday Times bestseller memoir, No Shame.

But, he’s made time in his busy diary to take charge of The Licensing Awards 2021, which will return to the Grosvenor House Hotel on Tuesday 14 September.
