Tiny Tatty Teddy licensee heads to Nursery Fair

Cheeky Chompers becomes latest partner to join programme for Carte Blanche brand.

Carte Blanche’s nursery brand Tiny Tatty Teddy is continuing to add licensees to its portfolio, with new product on display at this week’s Harrogate Nursery Fair.

The brand – which is showing year on year growth at retail and currently ranks as the number one nursery character brand in M&S – now has 16 licensees in the UK.

These cover apparel, footwear, publishing, plush, nursery toys and gifts, bedding and greeting cards.

Cheeky Chompers is the latest to join the licensing stable, with the new Tiny Tatty Teddy Neckachew and Comfortchew launching at Nursery Fair.

The Neckachew brand was created by mumpreneurs Amy Livingstone and Julie Wilson, with the company on track to sell its 750,000th product this month.

Sarah Quigley, head of UK licensing at Carte Blanche, commented: “We are thrilled to welcome Cheeky Chompers to the Carte Blanche Tiny Tatty Teddy licensing programme.

“These absolutely gorgeous baby teething products sit perfectly in our growing product portfolio and provide a stylish teething solution for new parents.”

Amy Livingstone from Cheeky Chompers added: “We are excited to be launching our first licence and have chosen Tiny Tatty Teddy because the character has great appeal and recognition.

“The creative designs to work with were really flexible and varied giving us a great opportunity to be creative and stay on brand. This licence will give us new opportunities to engage with retailers we don’t currently work with who can add a new Tiny Tatty Teddy product into their range.”
