The partnership will aim to highlight the fun nature of the new cricket competition, introducing fans to the new rules and format.
The new 100 ball cricket tournament, The Hundred has partnered with LEGO and Sky Sports ahead of its inaugural campaign this summer.
The partnership will aim to highlight the ‘fun, action packed nature’ of the competition, as well as introducing fans to the new rules and format, reported Sport Industry Group.
Stars such as Andrew Flintoff and Ebony Rainford-Brent (both pictured), plus Ben Stokes, Moeen Ali and Kate Cross among others will also be turned into LEGO Minifigures in a new video.
During The Hundred, the players themselves will be challenged to put their LEGO building skills to the test with the help of content creators in each Hundred team.
Sky will also be distributing the content created by the partnership across its channels including Sky Kids.
The Hundred will launch on 21 July with eight new teams having been created. It will be broadcast on Sky Sports and the BBC with further details being announced shortly.
