MGM to kick off first annual Pink Panther month in June 2022

The company is also inviting licensing partners to collaborate on product lines, experiences and retail activations.

MGM’s licensing and consumer products division is planning its first Pink Panther Month celebration for June 2022.

The month was chosen to sync up with the National Pink Day celebration on 23 June, while it will also tie in with other occasions such as Father’s Day, Pride Month and graduation in the US.

Pink Panther Month will showcase collaborations, product launches, thematic retail activations and experiential initiatives, supported by marketing and social media activities.

MGM is currently building a roster of new and first-time partners for Pink Panther Month in 2022 as it continues to expand the overall roster of new licensees for Pink Panther

Recently, the company signed a number of new licensees that will debut between now and early next year. They include Nowhere (aka Bathing Ape) for apparel; United Labels AG (apparel/accessories/home décor/housewares: Germany, Australia, Switzerland and UK); M.A. Al Abdulkarim (apparel/accessories/home: Saudi Arabia); Tiga Entertainment (apparel/accessories: Thailand); and Grendene SA (footwear: Brazil).
