Rainbow welcomes Nina and Other Little Things to its portfolio

The company has been appointed by DIC 2 to increase the presence of the property in Europe.

Rainbow has been appointed as the European licensing agent for DIC 2’s Nina and Other Little Things.

Nina and Other Little Things is a little red doll with a poetic design that has been achieving a number of international successes in the last eight years. It was the first Italian property to be nominated for the International Licensing Awards as best Art & Design property, joining names such as Andy Warhol, Keith Haring and the V&A Museum.

Since 2016, Nina has also been an ambassador for the monumental heritage of Île de France for the French Ministry of Culture.

Collections of stationery, homeware, gift items and books signed Nina are distributed by Fnac, Feltrinelli, Mondadori, Colette, Galeries La Fayette and in the shops of Pompidou Museum in Paris, La Triennale in Milan, Palazzo Te in Mantua, Palazzo Madama in Turin among others.

Rainbow will be looking to expand the reach of the brand, exploring the potential for the character and developing partners for all product categories.

“I’m very pleased with this new agreement, because Rainbow’s experience will allow a more widespread diffusion of Nina and lay the groundwork for the development of an audiovisual production to be able to cover also younger age targets,” commented Douglas Mari, sole director of DIC 2.

Cristiana Buzzelli, svp content and licensing at Rainbow Group, added: “Rainbow is thrilled to start working with Nina and DIC 2. The brand has great potential, and its values are contemporary, positive, versatile. We will be happy to provide our expertise to increase the brand awareness of Nina’s character throughout Europe in the lifestyle world and beyond.”
