New study from Dojo analysed the most in-demand brands as restrictions were eased.
New data from Dojo has shown that IKEA and Primark were two of the most searched for brands as non-essential retail began to re-open its doors in April.
The new study analysed the most in-demand brands as restrictions started to ease, as well as the activities UK consumers were most looking forward to spending their money on, reported Charged Retail Tech News.
IKEA came top with a 984% increase in searches ahead of restrictions easing – even though the retailer had remained open for click and collect during the lockdown.
The second most searched item was “when does Primark open?” with an uplift of 854% when comparing data from February and March this year.
Matalan, Clarks and Sports Direct were also among the commonly searched for brands.
Elsewhere in the data, unsurprisingly nail salons, hairdressers and beauty salons were also popular searches on Google, while “when do charity shops open?” increased by 469% between February and March this year.
