SpongeBob makes further in-roads into Russia

Nickelodeon unveils third apparel launch with Russian licensee TD Gulliver.

Nickelodeon & Viacom Consumer Products has revealed a new spring/summer SpongeBob Squarepants themed apparel collection, which further expands the brand in the Russian territory.

This will be the third launch with licensee TD Gulliver following the beginning of its partnership in March 2015.

The collection has been created for ages seven to 13 and includes swimming trunks and swimsuits, headwear, accessories and outdoor clothes.

It is available in stores across Russia, Azerbaijan, Belarus and Kazakhstan.

NVCP is looking to capitalise on research from its Nickelodeon Brand Tracker which found that SpongeBob is identified by 85% of six to 14 year olds in Russia.
