J!NX readies new Snoopy lines after Peanuts deal

Company to develop plush and figures based on Apple TV+ shows, Snoopy in Space and The Snoopy Show.

Peanuts Worldwide has secured a deal with J!NX to develop a line of plush and figures celebrating its two Apple TV+ shows, Snoopy in Space and The Snoopy Show.

Brokered by Mix Licensing Group, J!NX will be launching a plush programme followed by non-articulated figures, statues, hangers and collectable miniature figures in autumn 2021.

The Snoopy in Space collection will celebrate the decades long relationship between Peanuts and NASA, incorporating facts about space in the packaging, as well as a modern twist that fans haven’t seen before, including a Nebulous Snoopy and Charlie Brown in his NASA Astronaut Suit.

J!NX’s figures and statues will capture key moments, such as best friends Snoopy and Woodstock hugging while floating in space, as well as Snoopy teeing up for a round of lunar golf.

The stylised miniature figures will be sold as collectable sets, and as blind bags that will drop in waves featuring new art variations and secondary characters. J!NX will also develop exclusive and limited edition chase figures to create demand.

Meanwhile, the company will also be developing a collectable line of plush and figures based on The Snoopy Show – which is due to premiere on Apple TV+ on February 5, 2021 – for roll out in 2022.

Both collections will be available in the US, EMEA and Australia and New Zealand.

“As a lifelong Peanuts fan, I couldn’t be more thrilled to be working on such a beloved IP, while simultaneously introducing children to the wonders of space exploration through their trusted pals Snoopy, Charlie Brown, and the rest of the Peanuts gang,” remarked Brennan Vanorstran, licensing manager at J!NX.

Lindsay Martinez, svp North American licensing and partnerships at Peanuts Worldwide, added: “It is wonderful to work with such big Peanuts enthusiasts who will bring a new perspective to a toy line fueled by their own Peanuts fandom. The collection will bring to life an exciting, fresh interpretation of these evergreen characters made accessible to a new generation of viewers through Apple TV+.”
