Poundland adds Charlie Dimmock gardening line

Third celebrity collaboration for value retailer, following Tommy Walsh and Jane Asher.

Poundland has signed up the former host of Ground Force, Charlie Dimmock, as the face of its new value gardening range.

This is the third celebrity collaboration for the retailer, which has previously enjoyed success with a baking range with Jane Asher and a DIY offering with Tommy Walsh.

The new line – ‘In the garden with Charlie Dimmock’ – includes 120 products ready for the spring and summer. It is divided into eight categories including planting accessories and garden ornaments.

To kick off the partnership, a pop-up shop has opened in Bedford Street in Covent Garden, London for a week.

It features a selection of key lines, as well as two iPads to allow shoppers to check out the full range and order online.
