Help Our NHS Heroes raises over £14.5K for NHS Charities Together

Poetic Brands and Pogo Group thank all the licensors which supported the campaign.

Poetic Brands and Pogo Group are sending a big thank you to all of the licensors which supported their Help Our NHS Heroes campaign earlier this year.

The initiative saw the specialist clothing licensee and retailer work with leading brands to create a range of licensed t-shirts and mugs to support the NHS during the coronavirus crisis.

First to sign up to the campaign was Richard Cadell and Those Licensing People with Sooty, Sweep and Soo. The range quickly grew with designs based on Miffy, Friday Night Dinner and Haynes Manuals.

Collectively the companies raised an impressive £14,646.12 for NHS Charities Together.

“We are so proud of the total amount we’ve been able to donate,” said Anne Bradford, director of Poetic Brands. “At a time when everyone’s day to day business spiralled into the unknown, our partners took time to ensure that this project was fully supported and for this we are truly grateful.

“This reinforces the power of licensing and the loyalty of its fan base.”

Throughout the initiative Sooty, Sweep and Soo saw such a huge demand for product that the brand has now opened up its own online shop – which can be found by clicking here – specialising in general merchandise to meet the demands of its huge fanbase and the increased demand following the Help Our NHS Heroes sales.

(Special thanks go to: Richard Cadell and Those Licensing People, Alicia Davenport at DRi Licensing, Warwick Brenner at Direct to Retail and Gareth Newman at Haynes Manuals.)
