Fashion designer teams with footwear brand as part of its 60th anniversary celebrations.
Fashion designer Marc Jacobs is reuniting with Dr. Martens as part of the footwear brand’s 60th anniversary celebrations.
The designer – who previously worked with Dr. Martens back in 1993 on a grunge-themed collection – will be working on the brand’s ongoing 1460 remastered collaboration.
The boots will be adorned with custom-made antique gold charms – ranging from dice to whistles and keys – which take cues from Marc’s own collection, reported Fashion United. They will also feature a dual-branded tongue label and swing tag.
The boots will launch from September 26.
“Dr. Martens has long been a symbol of individuality and counterculture,” said Marc. “Marc Jacobs and Dr. Martens are united in a strong sense of authenticity and having your voice heard.”
