Pink Key Licensing adds Vimto to portfolio

Agency will manage non-food activity in the UK for brand.

Pink Key Licensing has been appointed to manage the non-food activity for the Vimto brand in the UK.

This will mark the first time that Vimto logos, slogans and imagery have been used on non-food related products.

The programme will cover both the Vimto archive and also the design of the contemporary brand, with new style guides created to ensure that partners get the best out of the designs.

“We couldn’t be more delighted to be introducing Vimto to our portfolio – anyone who knows us will immediately see why its fits so well with what we do, and it’s a brand I’ve always wanted to licence,” said Richard Pink, md of Pink Key Licensing. “The heritage and the associated art is fantastic, but equally it’s still an incredibly popular brand in its current format. We can’t wait to get started.”

Helen Hartley, licensing manager at Nichols, which owns Vimto, added: “We are extremely excited to be working with Pink Key to bring to life the rich and colourful history of the Vimto brand.

“Spanning more than 110 years, the archive is a real chest of wonderfully creative and inspiring designs which we can’t wait to share.”
