Trolls World Tour apparel gets boost from influencer initiatives and competitions

First Time Mum star Ferne McCann and daughter Sunday, plus parenting influencer campaign supports the George at Asda range for brand.

The launch of the Trolls World Tour apparel collection in George at Asda has been supported by a host of online influencer activity and competitions this week.

License to PR has been working with First Time Mum star, Ferne McCann and her two year old daughter, Sunday, on a special sponsored campaign.

The initiative saw the Poppy and Branch costume characters make an appearance at the reality star’s Essex home to surprise Sunday – who is a big Trolls fan – with a box of Trolls World Tour products and the recent DVD release.

In addition, Ferne is hosting The Great Trolls Giveaway on her Instagram, offering five lucky families the chance to win Trolls World Tour prizes and a visit from Poppy and Branch, who will deliver the prize to the home of one of the winners this summer.

Deliverables of the campaign include Instagram story frames and an Instagram grid post of the giveaway to Ferne’s audience – which achieved a reach of 2.6 million, plus 66.5k+ likes in 24 hours.

The content will finish with a final Instagram grid post announcing the winner next week.

Meanwhile, a gifted parenting influencer outreach campaign also ran the same giveaway on their channels to support the George at Asda range.

Five parenting bloggers were each gifted a bundle which they were also able to feature as a giveaway across their social platforms, offering a similar prize to three winners.
