Foundry Brands to bring RBX to the UK

US activewear brand looking for licensing and retail partners for spring 2017 launch.

Foundry Brands is introducing US activewear brand RBX to the UK, believing that it is a ‘compelling brand proposition’ for the market.

The New York-based brand will be looking to sign up licensing and retail partners for a spring 2017 UK launch.

Since its launch in 2003, RBX has become one of the fastest growing activewear brands in the US, combining on-trend athletic apparel with accessible price points.

Initially exclusively for women, RBX has since expanded into menswear, footwear, accessories, tech and sports equipment. Kidswear has been the most recent addition, while this year will also see the brand begin to open its own stores in the US, as well as develop new trend-led premium collections.

Its central brand message is #everydayactive.

Eli Yedid, ceo and founder of RBX commented: “We are confident our continued growth is going to depend on building RBX into a powerful brand that is distinct from the competition and proud of its unique point of view.

“Launching the brand to the UK and Europe is a logical step to take in this growth.”

Mike Smith, director at Foundry Brands, added: “Seeing the huge growth and interest at retail in activewear and the ever changing face of the high street with the emergence of the value retail sector.

“RBX, we feel, will make a compelling brand proposition to enter this market.”
