New collaboration between retailer and sports-lifestyle brand mixes retro with modernity.
With the majority of its stores now re-opened, Primark has launched a new collaboration with sports-lifestyle brand Prince.
The in-store launch coincides with what should have been the opening week of Wimbledon.
The Prince brand – which has been aiming to elevate the game of tennis both on and off the court since 1970 – is known for a range of products including tennis rackets, apparel, footwear and tennis balls among others.
The Primark range of athleisure aims to mix ‘retro with modernity’, according to the retailer’s website.
It uses pops of colour including bright bubble gum pink and fresh pear green as its accent shades and block colours throughout the range, as well as black and white for an on-trend monochrome look.
Items include full length tracksuits, hoodies, t-shirts and shorts among others.
Last week, Primark reported that trading since re-opening its stores had been “reassuring and encouraging”.
As of July 2, 367 Primark stores have re-opened, with the remaining eight expected to follow in the near future. However, two stores in Leicester are temporarily closed due to lockdown restrictions being reimposed in the city.
