Phat Kandi welcomes Licensing Link Europe to its tribe

Character-led lifestyle brand appoints agency to handle licensing growth in the UK and Eire.

Character-led lifestyle brand, Phat Kandi is continuing to build up its licensing agent roster, welcoming Licensing Link Europe to its tribe to handle the UK and Eire.

Licensing Link Europe joins the recently appointed Empire Multimedia for the EASIA territory and Brand Licensing Studio di Ambra Farioli to cover Italy.

Phat Kandi is a bold statement brand with a Japanese, edgy twist which lends itself to consumer products categories such as fashion, personal care, stationery and digital campaigns among others.

“Chris [Taday] and I are both flattered and really excited to be working with such an enthusiastic and proactive licensor,” said Ian Wickham, director at Licensing Link Europe. “The brand DNA, the handwriting and delivery are going to make for a strong lifestyle statement at a time when individuality is very much embraced.”

Mel Williams, director and creator of Phat Kandi, added: “We’re delighted to be working with Ian and Chris at Licensing Link Europe. They are a solid agency with incredible contacts and are completely on our wavelength.

“We are aligned in our strategy to continue building Phat Kandi as an off-beat brand, nationally and internationally, that’s available to all – regardless of age, gender or background.”
