Frida Kahlo licensing programme expands into younger age groups

Art Ask Agency secures new deals with fashion retailer Reserved and The Quarto Group.

Barcelona-based Art Ask Agency has unveiled the latest licensing deals for Frida Kahlo, which sees the brand expand into the younger girls age group.

Polish fashion retailer Reserved launched a spring/summer apparel and accessories collection – featuring a number of patterns and embellishments – for girls in March, with the products proving to be some of its top selling items.

In addition, The Quarto Group has added My First Frida Kahlo to its Little People Big Dreams book series, which also comes with a classic ragdoll of Frida.

“It’s wonderful to see products for little girls with the Frida Kahlo licence,” said Maria Strid, owner of Art Ask Agency. “Frida inspires many and is aspirational for little girls. Parents love to give the legacy of Frida to their daughters.”
