Licensed masks launching via Trevco’s new MaskClub.com ecommerce platform.
The emoji company has partnered with Trevco to create an expressive line of officially licensed face masks for the new MaskClub.com ecommerce platform.
MaskClub was founded earlier in April in response to the CDC in the US announcing that Americans should wear a face covering – it has a ‘buy one, give one’ business model, meaning that for every emoji mask purchased, MaskClub will donate one to the First Responders Children’s Foundation.
Customers will have access to emoji designs via the website, as well as being part of MaskClub’s mask subscription model.
The deal was brokered by Retail Monster, the emoji company’s US licensing agent.
“We are proud to partner with MaskClub and help benefit the First Responders Children’s Foundation,” said Marco Hüsges, ceo and founder of the emoji company. “In these unprecedented times, our hope is that these masks will allow consumers to express personality and feeling, while bringing smiles to faces on either side of the mask.”
Trevor George, founder of Trevco and MaskClub.com, added: “We are humbled by how quickly the emoji brand rose to the occasion. Thanks to brands like emoji, we will donate thousands of masks to first responders.”
