Opportunities abound for licensees as hotly tipped service arrives on March 24, as TV spots and pre-launch subscription offer hit.
The countdown to the launch of Disney+ in the UK is well and truly on for licensees and consumers, with TV ad spots now running and Disney revealing a pre-launch subscription offer.
The eagerly awaited streaming service launches in the UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Austria and Switzerland on March 24.
Additional Western Europe markets including Belgium, the Nordics and Portugal, will follow in summer 2020.
A special pre-launch subscription offer of £49.99 is running until March 23 (equivalent to £4.17 per month).
Standard pricing at launch has been confirmed at £5.99 per month, or £59.99 for an annual subscription.
At launch, over 25 exclusive Disney+ Original will be available including The Mandalorian, which has already inspired a host of licensed products.
Other titles to look out for include High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, a creative modern take on the hit franchise; Star Wars: The Clone Wars; a re-telling of Lady and the Tramp; three new live action series from Marvel Studios including The Falcon and the Winter Soldier; Loki; plus new films including Togo and Stargirl.
In addition, there will also be a series of shorts including Forky Asks a Question (pictured).
