Biscuiteers celebrates Pippi Longstocking

Biscuit specialist partners with Save the Children for limited edition collection.

Hand-iced biscuit specialist, Biscuiteers has unveiled a new limited edition collection in partnership with Save the Children and the Astrid Lindgren Company to celebrate 75 years of Pippi Longstocking.

The collection launches to coincide with International Women’s Day (Sunday March 8) and has been inspired by the classic children’s character.

Inside the limited edition tin, there are Biscuiteers signature vanilla biscuits of Pippi, Mr Nilsson and Pippi’s horse, alongside some of her favourite things including her music box and bag of coins.

A donation of £5 from the sale price of each biscuit tin will be given to Pippi of Today, Save the Children’s global campaign to raise awareness and funds for the charity’s work for girls on the move.

“Pippi Longstocking is such a well-loved character and an inspiring role model,” said Harriet Hastings, founder and md at Biscuiteers. “We have had a lot of fun designing this limited edition collection, which will make a brilliantly original gift for Mother’s Day or International Women’s Day of course, as well as raising money for Save the Children’s Pippi of Today campaign.”
