Licensing Link Europe has secured a major cross brand collaboration deal for IFL Science. The brand is teaming with Ripley’s Believe It or Not – the media franchise inspired by strange and unusual facts – on a new hardback 192-page book. Due to be published in May 2020, the book will be available in all territories. “The combination of the irreverence, wit and factual basis of IFL Science with the jaw dropping stories and facts that have made Ripley’s successful for an incredible 100 years is a winning one,” said Chris Taday, director of Licensing Link Europe. “I’m sure I’m not alone in looking forward to the arrival of what will be an amazing publication.”

The LEGO Group has formed a global strategic partnership with AMEET to launch a new publishing imprint, LEGO Books. The new imprint will encompass a line of ‘innovative playful’ reading experiences that capture the LEGO spirit in print, digital and audio. In preparation for Frankfurt Book Fair, AMEET will be starting conversations with publishing partners around the world for an expanded LEGO Books programme which includes early readers, author-led middle grade fiction, picture books and a learning and STEAM line launching in 2021. This will be alongside an existing portfolio of ever-evolving activity and novelty books with LEGO bricks.

The RHS has teamed with Scholastic on a wide range of children’s publications. The collection includes sticker and activity books, handbooks, illustrated non fiction, board and colouring books, annuals, e-books and journals. All the publications will make use of the vast range of expertise available to the gardening charity, as well as drawing on its work with families, schools and children. The range will launch in spring 2020.

The Tetris Company has renewed its existing licensing partnership with IMG in Asia, also expanding it to include Italy and Central and Eastern European countries.

Rick and Morty fans can now get their hands on the brand’s collaboration with MeUndies. The range includes both men’s and women’s undies, socks, lounge pants, bralettes and BuddyBands, which are a new line of pet bandanas.

Sagoo – which represents the L&M rights in Europe for Japanese character brand Rilakkuma – has struck a deal with Blueprint Collections for a range of stationery, accessories, bags and gifts featuring the ‘very relaxed’ bear.
