Cosmopolitan brand reveals new premium apparel collab

Young women’s media brand teams with Dress the Population for new collection.

Cosmopolitan has confirmed a new partnership with premium apparel brand, Dress the Population.

The collaboration – which was brokered by IMG – sees Dress the Population offering dresses and separates for a range of customers, from those who push boundaries in trendy colours and silhouettes, to others who prefer investing in timeless pieces ideal for seasonal transitions.

Each piece aims to reflect the label’s core values of elegance, accessible luxury and ethics. Separates are priced from $49 to $99, while dresses are $70 to $149.

The full collection is available from Nordstrom, Lord & Taylor and on Dress the Population’s website this month.

“Designed to enhance the ever-expanding wardrobes of today’s fashion-conscious, luxe-driven millennial women, our Cosmopolitan x Dress The Population line was developed with both the versatility and style-diversity of our readers in mind,” said Steve Ross, global head of brand development and chief licensing officer for Hearst Magazines.

Frank Morales, owner and creative director at Dress the Population, added: “The Cosmopolitan collection is the first we’ve been excited about outside of our main line. We see that there are a lot of synergies between our brands and customers, so this is well-positioned to be a very successful venture for us.”
