M&S readies Disney collaboration for Frozen 2

Retailer to set up dedicated shops in its kidswear sections featuring 72 exclusive Frozen 2 lines.

Marks and Spencer has unveiled a major collaboration with Disney around the eagerly anticipated Frozen 2.

The retailer will open dedicated Frozen 2 shops in the kidswear sections of all its stores in the UK and online this Friday, reported Fashion United.

The shops will include 72 Frozen 2 products which are exclusive to M&S such as fancy dress, advent calendars, pyjamas and plush.

In addition, M&S will also be joining Disney in support of UK charity, Together for Short Lives, which helps the 49,000 seriously ill children and their families across the UK to make the most of every moment they have together.

M&S will be selling an exclusive tote bag in the run up to Christmas in support of the charity.

“Growing Marks and Spencer kidswear is an important focus as we work to appeal to family-aged customers,” said Nathan Ansell, director of clothing and home marketing at M&S. “Frozen 2 is a highly anticipated film and when the trailer landed it was record-breaking so we know lots of our customers will be excited to visit our special Frozen 2 shops and check out our exclusive product.”

Sara Hanson, director of charitable programmes at Disney EME, added: “By teaming up with Marks and Spencer and our long-term charity partner Together for Short Lives, we can bring the power of the Frozen 2 story and its characters to inspire and create Moments that Matter for children and those closest to them when they need it the most.”
