The Happy News scoops Henries 2019 award win

Brand wins Best Licensed Range for its collection with Pigment.

Pigment and its collection of cards for The Happy News emerged victorious from last week’s The Henries award ceremony, picking up Best Licensed Range.

Other nominees in the category included Baby Shark from Danilo; Disney Faces from UK Greetings; Haynes from Emotional Rescue; Original Stormtrooper from Rocket 68; and Quentin Blake Classic from Woodmansterne Publications.

Over 700 greeting card industry publishers, retailers and suppliers attended the event – which was held at the Royal Lancaster Hotel, London – to witness the industry’s best greeting card ranges receive the top card publishing accolades.

Comedian and television star, Tom Allen brought the house down with his quick witted responses as compere for the ‘100 Years of greeting cards’ celebration, themed to tie in with the centenary of the GCA, headline sponsor of the event.
