Preschool show from Boat Rocker Studios will premiere on Disney Junior US in 2021.
Boat Rocker Studios has confirmed today that its new preschool show – Dino Ranch – has been picked up by Disney Junior US.
The animation – which was created by Matt Fernandes of Industrial Brothers – is currently in pre-production and is due to premiere on Disney Junior US in 2021, followed by an international roll out.
It follows the adventures of the Cassidy family as they tackle life in a fantastical ‘pre-westoric’ setting where dinosaurs still roam.
A mix of comedy and adventure, Dino Ranch aims to introduce kids to problem solving, the foundations of forging life-long friendships, strengthening family and community bonds and taking care of animals.
Boat Rocker Studios will manage the global distribution, brand and licensing of Dino Ranch and is already in advanced discussions with a number of leading partners, with a global toy deal set to be announced shortly.
“We are delighted to be working with Disney on Dino Ranch as they are the perfect platform to help us launch this entertaining new show in the US,” said Jon Rutherford, md and president rights of Boat Rocker Studios. “Matt’s unique vision of combining cowboys/cowgirls and dinosaurs has huge global appeal, and we look forward to building Dino Ranch into a global franchise.”
