Preschool favourite to be subject of special exhibition during October half term.
BBC Studios is partnering with the Design Museum to celebrate the creativity behind CBeebies’ award winning series, Hey Duggee.
A special exhibition, called Designing Hey Duggee, will run during October half term (October 25-28) at the venue.
It will give fans and parents the chance to dive into the colourful world of the show – from never before seen early sketches to an exclusive look inside the design, animation and production process of the series creator, Studo AKA, and creative director, Grant Orchard.
The exhibition is a chance to see how the world of Hey Duggee was brought to life with episodes, clips and insights into key features of the show such as the famous badges.
“As a child I used to go to the Commonwealth Institute and be inspired by what I saw there, so it’s such an honour to have my early sketches, designs and concepts on display at what has now become the Design Museum,” said Grant. “The exhibition offers our creative fans a chance to explore the design secrets behind Hey Duggee’s success, and I hope that it will inspire children to pick up a pencil and get sketching, too.”
