Pusheen Snack Parlour attracts the crowds

Fluid World teams with Artbox for Brighton-based parlour.

Fluid World and the Pusheen brand teamed up with Artbox last weekend for the launch of the first Pusheen Snack Parlour.

The venue in Brighton was given a full Pusheen transformation with fans being able to choose from themed sweet treats including Pusheen sundaes drizzled with toffee sauce and cookie crumbs, Pusheen Pastel UFO Sundae with sherbert flying saucers and sugar stars, Pusheen waffles and an array of drinks.

Over 100 fans – including YouTubers and social media influencers – from across the UK queued outside the venue for two hours before the grand opening.

As the day progressed more fans arrived and the queues didn’t die down until 5pm with at least 50 people in line at all times.

The Snack Parlour has an upstairs seating area for customers to enjoy their sundaes, and within 15 minutes of the venue opening this area was full and people were waiting up to three hours to be seated.

The dedicated retail area downstairs also meant that fans could purchase a range of product from licensees including Spin Master, Thumbs Up, Pyramid, Blueprint, Character World and Plastic Head.

The majority of the sales transactions were over £100 and many were over £200, with one die-hard fan spending a massive £418 in a single transaction.
