Character Options unveils new YouTubers event

Character Kidz will bring the company’s key brands to the UK’s up and coming YouTubers.

Character Options has unveiled details of its first Character Kidz show, with the event set to bring the company’s key brands to the UK’s up and coming YouTubers.

Taking place on Saturday June 22 in central London, the event will deliver four floors of filming opportunities to over 50 channels.

Backdrops and unboxing will be the key theme with staged areas featuring key lines – including licensed product such as Treasure X Alien Autopsy Suite and Pokémon.

“Online influencers are key to our marketing strategy and instead of a single brand launch event to invite them to, we decided to combine more than ten,” said Jerry Healy, group marketing director at Character Options. “Character Kidz promises to deliver one mass extravaganza of brands seen at their best.

“The day has been specifically set up for child influencers and their needs and the ‘minituber’ community has been really excited to attend. We are delighted to say our guest list is all but full.”

Jerry continued: “This is, however, just the start of a whole season of activity in this arena and the springboard from which we hope to achieve millions of YouTube and Instagram views. It also gives us the chance to meet the kids themselves and thank them for their hard work throughout the year.”
