The B&LLAs 2019: The Property winners

Morris & Co, National Geographic, Energizer, Coca-Cola and Joules all honoured.

The Property categories at the Brand & Lifestyle Licensing Awards were hotly contested, with some high profile heritage, lifestyle, food and beverage, talent and fashion brands nominated.

First was Best Licensed Heritage or Institution Brand 2018 (sponsored by Brand Licensing Europe), with Morris & Co walking away with the trophy.

Helen Webster, licensing director at Style Library, commented: “It is fabulous to win; it shows how relevant a heritage brand like Morris & Co is.”

Best Licensed Lifestyle Brand (sponsored by PowerStation Studios) was awarded to a clearly delighted National Geographic team (pictured above).

Helena Mansell-Stopher, UK licensing director, enthused: “This is amazing; a whole year of hard work has paid off.”

Energizer was triumphant in the Best Licensed Non-Food Brand category (sponsored by Those Licensing People), with Lisa Reiner, md of the brand’s agency Beanstalk, commenting: “We’re delighted for our client. It is a fantastic brand to work with.”

Best Licensed Food or Beverage Brand (sponsored by Spring Fair) went to Coca-Cola, with licensing manager Louise King, saying: “I’m delighted to accept this on behalf of the licensing team and CAA-GBG.”

Finally in this category, Best Licensed Fashion or Talent Brand (sponsored by H&A) went to Joules, with the lifestyle brand picking up its second award of the afternoon.

A stunned Josie Will, licensing manager, said: “We’re so pleased to be double winners – the champagne’s on Joules!”
