The Point.1888 welcomes trio of new hires

This is the fourth expansion round for the agency in just over five months.

The Point.1888 has welcomed a trio of new hires to its rapidly expanding team, marking the fourth round of expansion at the company in just over five months.

The three new additions take the total head count at the agency to 21.

Joining as head of FMCG and home, Louise Williamson (pictured left) brings 25 years of experience working with blue chip brands from both a licensor and brand agency perspective such as Harry Potter, Teletubbies, Coca-Cola, Star Wars and Marvel.

In her new role, Louise will ensure brands are matched with the right licensing partners and that only the best products make their way to shelves.

Carrie Sharland (pictured centre), meanwhile, has joined as associate commercial manager from CAA-GBG where she was responsible for product development and brand management. Her main clients will include Tinpo, Jamie Johnson and Battersea.

Finally, Amy Plume (pictured right) joins to support the homeware team as associate commercial manager. Amy joins from Hamleys where she planned and supervised many of the retailer’s events and worked alongside the marketing team on major brand campaigns.

“I am incredibly excited to welcome Louise, Carrie and Amy to The Point.1888 family,” said Will Stewart, md of The Point.1888. “Each of them is bringing with them valuable skills and experience to help the company continue to grow and develop amazing products for our clients.

“With rapid growth, it’s important to recruit people that share the same values and goals as the rest of the team and I can already see that all three ladies are a perfect fit here at The Point.1888.”
