Rovio, Bravado and Smiffys all pledge support for London to Paris challenge in aid of industry charity.
A further three companies have pledged their support for The Light Fund London to Paris Row – which is due to begin from Tower Bridge on April 27.
Rovio – the company behind Angry Birds – has signed up to have the brand on the sleeves of the splash jackets and crew shirts, in a move which the crew hopes will help slingshot them to Paris.
In addition, Bravado has jumped on board to sponsor the crew’s water bottles, which will be a huge help to keep the rowers hydrated throughout. Smiffys, meanwhile, is showing its support by sponsoring its logo on the start and finish line.
Poetic Brands – which is already providing the Musto safety jackets – has also generously extended its support to see its logo appear on the sleeves of the shirts and jackets.
Other existing sponsors include Brand Licensing Europe, H&A, Character World, Dreamtex, Zag Toys, Jazwares, Flair, Banter and Posh Paws/Whitehouse Leisure.
A headline sponsor for the event has also been secured and will be announced next week.
The London to Paris Light Fund Row is scheduled to leave Tower Bridge on April 27 and aims to arrive in Paris on May 4. The crew will row two hours on, two hours off throughout. A range of sponsorship packages are available for companies to support the event and a brochure is available by emailing robc@bulldog-licensing.com.
