Spreadshirt expands licensed portfolio

E-commerce company secures deal with Schleich to launch an apparel collection.

E-commerce company Spreadshirt is expanding its roster of children’s licences, securing a deal with animal figurine specialist Schleich to create a new apparel collection.

As a textile partner of the toy manufacturer, Spreadshirt will distribute merchandise for three play worlds – Horse Club, bayala and Eldrador Creatures.

Currently, more than 50 designs for the three play worlds are available on the Spreadshirt marketplace, as well as on Amazon and eBay across the UK and Europe.

“With Spreadshirt, our new partner for apparel, we are united by our love of detail and the high quality standards of our products,” said Monika Bleile, brand and licensing manager at Schleich. “In addition, we both have the ambition of bringing a smile to the face of every ‘little’ customer with our products.”

In addition to the products from the Schleich play worlds, there are motifs from numerous children’s films and series such as The Little Prince, Asterix and The Smiley Company on the Spreadshirt marketplace.
