Ferrari Land to open in 2017

New theme park will be part of PortAventura World Parks & Resort in Spain.

A new theme park dedicated to the Ferrari brand is due to open in 2017.

‘Ferrari Land’ will be unique to Europe and is being opened following a partnership between the brand and PortAventura World Parks & Resort.

Construction of the theme park is planned for completion in late 2016, with Ferrari Land occupying around 60,000 m2.

According to reports, it is hoped the initiative will attract more than five million visitors a year.

A key attraction will be a ride emulating a single seater Formula 1 car, apparently accelerating from 0 to 100km/h in less than five minutes.
