Luxury childrenswear label Monnalisa is to launch a new fashion collection for girls inspired by classic cartoon duo, Tom & Jerry. Key lines from the autumn/winter 2019/2020 collection will preview at Pitti Immagine Bimbo – taking place in Florence, Italy this week – before it launches in 750 multibrand and 41 Monnalisa boutiques, starting from July. The range features jeans, jackets, jersey dresses, t-shirts, soft jumpers and cardigans, with the colour palette being led by hues of cream, blue and honey. Embellishments come in the form of glitter, sparkling stars, rhinestones and 3D effects.
Cloudco Entertainment has appointed The Point.1888 as the exclusive licensing agent for CBeebies’ show, Tinpo. As part of the agreement, The Point.1888 will be looking at publishing, toys, home, arts and crafts, puzzles and games. The first products are expected to be released from autumn/winter 2019.
The Roald Dahl Story Company is due to unveil a raft of new games from key licensees at London’s Toy Fair. The expanded range from Winning Moves, Green Board Games and Paul Lamond focuses on education, player engagement and brand collaborations and extensions. New lines include Roald Dahl Top Trumps from Winning Moves; two new Brainbox games from Green Board Games; and three educational games from Paul Lamond focusing on spelling, maths and words.
London Toy Fair is set for a sprinkle of Hollywood stardust, with Warwick Davis appearing on the Asmodee UK stand to promote Tenable, a new board game based on the hit ITV game show that he presents. The Harry Potter and Star Wars actor will be on stand E109 in the early afternoon on Tuesday January 22.
Aardman is continuing its craft licensing partnership with Create and Craft, releasing a range of new Shaun the Sheep products. The new collection follows on from October’s successful launch, which saw a unique line of crafting products based on Wallace & Gromit introduced. Products in the Shaun the Sheep collection include metal dies, character paper pads, stamp sets and screen printing screens among others.
Licensing Works is to continue to represent The Little Prince brand for North America, following a deal with global licensor, SOGEX. The news follows on from the successful execution of the 75th anniversary programme in a broad array of product categories, supported by press, promotions and events.
TCG is expanding its range of Megamat play surfaces to include Toy Story 4. The new collection – launching in the summer – will include Megamat offerings in an array of sizes and price points.
