CHF Pip! and Branded Clothing International (BCI) are extending the apparel licence for preschool property, Pip Ahoy! A range of nightwear, swimwear and underwear will launch at retail from summer 2019 onwards. The news follows on from the company’s renewed toy partnership with John Adams.

Baileys is opening its Baileys Treat Bar pop-up for the second time in Covent Garden until December 22. The alpine-themed bar will be serving hot chocolates, lattes, cocktails and vegan options. Fans will also be able to buy sweet treats such as reindeer chocolate and Baileys chocolates made by licensee Lir. The Baileys licensing programme is handled by Beanstalk.

LMI has secured a new partnership between International Space Archives and The Westminster Collection for the Apollo Missions Medal Collection. The collection follows each of the Apollo launches to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 Moon landing on July 20, 2019.

King Features Syndicate is producing a new animation in celebration of Popeye’s 90th anniversary. The new series – called Popeye and Friends – will air on the official YouTube channel and will aim to introduce the classic character to younger audiences.

The new Kidz Bop 2019 album has officially launched in partnership with Hamleys. A special launch event took place last weekend, with family and parenting influencers and bloggers, as well as invited press guests, treated to exclusive access to Hamleys to meet the kids.

APC Kids has appointed Toy Plus as the global master toy partner for its animated series, Kid-E-Cats. The Hong Kong-based company is developing a toy range spanning plush, collectables, figurines and play-sets targeted at preschoolers.

Kingsmen Creatives has secured Marina Square Shopping Mall in Singapore as the venue for the world’s first NERF-dedicated family entertainment centre. It is slated to open in the second half of 2019.

MHS Licensing & Consulting is to introduce artist John Keeling at the upcoming 2019 Atlanta International Gift and Home Furnishings Market in January.
